I'm not normally one to complain but I have noticed a huge decline in quality recently. The conclusion that I came to was that people from the dreaded textboards have been coming to try to make DQN a worse place. Why do they do that? How do we get them to leave?

Remember the most basic and oft-forgotten advice: do not feed the trolls.

As >>2 says, just ignore them. They'll probably get bored and leave. Worst case scenario, they stay and you have to scroll past a few shitty posts now and then. It's not really that bad. The best thing you can do is every time you see a shitty post, make two good posts elsewhere to counter it.

I'm glad that at the least, no matter how offensive, their posts are at least relatively well-thought-out. It shows even they know when a measure of quality is appropriate.
