But I have a problem and a long post describing it.

I'm trying to pick new glasses for myself. What should they be:
aviators (not sunglasses!) or "nerdy" with a thick plastic frame?
Or maybe those tiny things like John Lennon had?

I usually dress in smart casual or business casual
(though I don't really follow any dress codes –
I just wear what, I think, looks nice). So, a friend of mine suggested
nerdy glasses in order to "overdo" that general outlook and look ironic.
Yes, he's a hipster. This is why I'd like to hear your suggestions.
