How many and what are the links to the other chans?
So far I've seen 2-ch and 4-ch. Is there more?
>>3
haha you fail. In the end no one bought your domain did they?
What about other text boards like here, are there any other 2ch-style forums in English? I know this site, I know the text boards at 4chan.org, but all these other ones that I find seam to be "image-boards" which I'm not really interested in.
onion chan has text boards...
It's also crawling with pedos and other creepy shit last time I looked at it. Sure this site may also have pedos, but their aint no pedos doing pedo shit here.
There is
http://wakaba.c3.cx/soc/
And also not so active boards like http://www.ko-chan.org/dis/ and the forums on http://wtfux.org/index2.html
>>8
But those are just forums about imageboards, except for wtfux forums which I'd never seen before but don't look great to me. It seams like 4-ch really is the only place of its kind, in English at least.
Is there a site that translates the 2chan portal? I swear I've seen it somewhere before.
>>10
Never mind, a little searching found it at http://www.bluethree.us/futaba/
<-- Check out the menu over there too. You'll find http://4-ch.net/2chportal/
Why use chan
>>13
Dunno you tell me
>>14
I always thought they were imageboards and BBS
There are 7 chans
No. wait. there is only 7CHAN!
>>16
-_-
>>15
2channel is not an imageboard. Anything else is silly semantic drift.
I blame moot.
Tablecat's lounge is now reopened. http://tablecat.ipyo.heliohost.org/lounge/
Not a chan, but a pretty comfy textboard nonetheless.
4chan sucks now
4chan sucked always
No one's posted it yet? Ugh. Fine. I'll do it.

It's like a year old, but still fairly relevant, all things considered.
32ch.org

I should probably elaborate that the docs link is actually a megalist a large number of imageboards/textboards/boorus, thus making posts in threads like these that are just blatantly site owners advertising their own forum redundant.
>>30
That's way too many boards, dude. I had to press PgDn thrice just to get to the bottom of the board list.
That works well for 4chan, because 4chan is THE imageboard, but this is just ridiculous. You have a /news/ board on top of a /pol/ board? You have, like, three testing boards. You have a /css/ board on top of a /tech/ board. How much discussion do you genuinely anticipate that CSS--not html/webassembly/flash/anything else related to webdesign--deserves its own board divorced from /tech/?
>>32
It is a 8chan esque board where everyone can create their own board, so no wonder that there are many useless boards.
It's also where most of 8chan's /intl/ boards former users went.
sushichan is now at sushigirl.us
https://chanpink.com/campus/
http://doushio.com/moe/
I have found these chans with really cool features, you should check it out.

This guy's ''impressions'' are embarassing.
''Most of the Futaba userbase probably browses the site casually, intent on some quick and easy amusement; you’d have to jump through numerous hoops daily in order to keep up, which is just ridiculous'' killed me.
Absolutely clueless.
>>35
dont use chanpink they set up spam bots to spam other chans with there url
>>37
There's a difference with manually (or even using bots) to post one thread about their chan on other chans and using bots to post 100 threads about them on a single chan.
Here's a new "rule of the internet": The more places you spam your board, the sooner it is going to die.
German imagrboards:
krautchan.net
ernstchan.com
neuschwabenland.net
and they all suck
you're not wrong
I just saw a thread recently on /g/ where some idiot was talking about how amazing it would be to make and own a chan, as if it's the hardest thing to do, and it's never been done before. It was really obnoxious to know that there are people posting on 4chan that don't realize that there was ever a time when 4chan wasn't the chan on the market. That actually, individually people could make and maintain their own social media site. It says a lot for a social media paradigm here in the anglo saxon world where every site is designed to glorify and impose the burden of individual identity on you, regardless of whether or not you want it.
