Hello, I would like to create a textboard, but I have no idea how to do it. My hosting doesn't support Perl; it only supports PHP 7 and 8. I hope you can help me.

Pick a host that supports Perl, but it probably doesn't exist anymore since Perl is dead so let me try again:

Pick a host with a cheap VPS.
Learn how to configure a VPS and install Perl.

You will enjoy tears and sweat from figuring this out on your own the first time by sloppily following poorly written guides found in search engines, have fun.

So host it on your home net on your main computer or an old half broken one. I'm sure nobody will notice. Realistically odds are low to get any users either way so why not play with it for free. Since it's a textboard you won't have to worry about accidentally hosting illegal material anyways.
