I preferred the thread title as it was in Part 5 over the shorter version in Part 6, and so I decided to copy the style of the former. May this THREAD Restoration usher in a new era of peace, prosperity, progress and posts about current thoughts for /dqn/!

I dislike Reddit for different reasons--their constant regurgitation of last week's 4chan memes, the utter lack of creativity, the "le derp derp, le memes, le lolcats, le FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU" If you're going to swim in a sea of sewage, then go to the source and dive into /b/. Don't be some middle-age wannabe hipster with a soul patch. It's lame.
also,
>implying the 21st Century Internet as a whole isn't a wretched hive of scum and villainy, even worse than it was in the 90s
>>601
Well, my point is that people focus too much on the Reddit-stealing-memes thing. And it is a real issue (I see motivationals and image macros from 5 years ago on the front page whenever I visit). But it's a symptom of a larger problem. Reddit's userbase is broken, thanks to the egoism inherent in a system that rewards you with numbers for your comments. It's really no different to YouTube's top comments, even if the users are a little older and have a few more IQ points.
I wish more people would realize the benefits of an anonymous system, but I guess it's just incompatible with how most people in the West think, particularly in the blogosphere age.
Tomorrow will be great.

I love you! But please don't try to climb into my nose.
Tomorrow my best friend in the entire world is coming over. We're going to play Pokemon Stadium 2 and watch Pokemon episodes. Maybe she'll even bring over something we can cook! ( )
Shitbrained cumeater! I'll knock those beautiful teeth of yours out with that hammer you gave me, I'll cut out that vile tongue of yours which you know how to use just the wrong way! Limitlessly predestined : solidarity through the unknown
I don't like the change of The Big Bang Theory around the 3rd season. It degraded from a funny sci-fi show about science geeks for nerds into a repetitive romantic comedy with a limited set of characters.
Penny used to be a girl who hanged out with other people and now what? In 4th season she says that she has no dreams, no hope, no friends in LA; she hangs out with two nerdy girls. What the heck? She used to be a party girl with a dubious choice of boyfriends.
The main characters don't seem to work anymore. All they do is hang out in cafeteria, in restaurants or in somebody's house. Whenever altogether or with their girlfriends. Plus desperate Rajesh. Plus current Sheldon is now only a shadow of former Sheldon. As if while everyone were getting older and wiser, he became more and more childish.
I can't believe that the last two seasons had much higher ratings than the first two. At least now I can see why they cancelled Firefly.

Oh my, I so envy you! You should totally watch these episodes: ttp://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Espeon_(Pok%C3%A9mon)#In_the_anime !

Oh god the spiders, the spiders! My pickaxe is no match for these spiders!

As it happens, I had a lighter and a pool of paraffin, which did just as well. I might add that this was in a computer game (Penumbra: Overture, to be precise).
I'm so tired of being so easily triggered by idiots. There's this one asshole on Formspring who has "five waifus," likes the shittiest anime and is a general prick. I literally boil with anger if I just see his name. It ruins my day, and I don't know what to do about it. This is literally making me mad.
augh i'm so fucking confused
>>615
Block him, maybe? That's the great thing about social networks: YOU choose whose comments you see.
Gentlemen. We must find a way to combine the "spaghetti fell out of my pockets" meme with the "creepy pasta" meme. I believe that it can be done.
>>613
Actually it was in a much-much older game from late 90s. You had to combine a bottle of spray with a lighter and somehow fight some alien thing with it or something.
So, anyway. I just finished the last episode of the last season TBBT. I must say that it was considerably better than the 4th, but mocking Soviet/Russian space program, really? This is just mean. It's, like, the only good thing left here. Those ill-conceived Armageddon-style jokes are distasteful. They were fitting during the 90s, when basically everything in ex-USSR was in disrepair, but not nowadays.
Excuse me my language, but I bet this is because that faggot is still butthurt over The Theorists, a copycat show which was filmed in Belarus. But it was retarded. And actors quit it anyway as soon as they learned that it wasn't licensed. Licensed remakes suck big time anyway.
Hahaha! Goose!
Goddamn it, not again.
Kill yourself! Jump off a cliff! Right onto the jagged rocks below!
Young bones groan, and the rocks below say "throw your skinny body down, son!"
Finish matte, eschew dramatic spoon-fed heat.
Do you people not know about the Requests board or something?
Make me cry.
I wonder if drinking one's own semen is considered a religious sacrament somewhere. Seems likely to me, at least.
A girl I've been talking to said that she liked me. I don't know why, but it's making me very very depressed.

I've been wondering what this "scented candle" smells like. It's scented...but what.
Vanilla, some kind of baked good? I fear I may never know.
I don't want to go to work tomorrow, I just want to listen to cute music all day.
>>627
I think you would see "this post sucked" more often if there was actual moderation.
You're 35 and telling me the problem with American education is its teachers, that effectual lessons are subverted in favor of furthering a totalitarian agenda. You're 35. I wanted to punch your stupid face in, but that might have been rather socially unacceptable.
>>637
Also, do people stop learning after a certain age? Do they just decide to be retarded one day and stop giving a shit about everyone but themselves?
>>637
But the teachers here ARE really shitty. Or at least at the schools I went to.
>>638 There are newspapers, magazines, certain TV shows, and books that people read after the age of 35.
My father is 62, and learns something everyday by watching the Discovery channel, History channel, and some of those other channels that are dedicated to things like science and documentaries about real people and their jobs.

I can't tell whether this is a rhetorical question, or whether you're being DQN here.
Does any living thing ever stop learning before it dies? Learning, growth, change, these are part of life, regardless of your age. Not long ago I read of a man who decided at the age of 78 to go to medical school. He graduated and got his MD, too, and practiced medicine for many years.
Hmm. Too serious for DQN?
> the man began med school age of 78
> practiced medicine for many years
How long is many, ten? Ha ha
>>645
That is still ten years more than he would have, if he had not gone to medical school.
Tomorrow's my day off. I'm going to watch so much anime and do so much cleaning.
>>647
That's how you spend a day off! What are you going to watch, DQN?
I just got back from my intermediate Japanese speaking exam. It consisted of two role-play problems. In the first, you had to apologize to your boss at your part time job for managing to get into an accident with a bicycle you borrowed from him. The second assignment was to recommend your favourite movie to your friend and roughly summarize the plot.
I had a lot more problems with the latter. I suspect I have a too high resistance against sounding too informal when addressing a teacher, as I kept slipping back into polite speaking style.
Today is overcast and rainy. I normally love these days, and will go for a walk in the rain. But for some reason I don't feel like doing anything...even posting is too much.
Mirai Nikki is fucked up. I don't like watching anime like this. I'm still going to finish it, but still...
My mantra is, if you like Gasai Yuno, you're no friend of mine.
I'm offitaly in Icially!
I'm glad she's all right with another girl. R(EցEM),
Bishop Berkeley's reality is so painful!

You know the "Eternal September" gag? Well it's LOLRANDOM so the webmaster of this site decided to apply it to posts. Even though he's in his twenties.
>>652
Well, there's three of her. I think.
I just finished it. I don't know what to think. I'm really good with time travel most of the time but this...confounds me. Not the time traveling myself but they reasoning for some of it. And parts of the ending did not make sense to me.
I went to bed at half past 11, woke up at 4.30. Four hours and a lot of cola later I'm still tired. Damn this heat.
I can't view women with anything but disgust anymore, no matter how hard i pretend! Am I turning asexual?!
CLOSE YOUR EYES TO THE LIES AND LISTEN TO YOUR HEARTBEAT
I missed a very important appointment today because I was too scared and lazy to go.
"World you used to know"? That was a low blow, Keiko.
That was really cool.
Very few people still use this thread to post their current thoughts.
This song's amazing. Where's my hat? I need to go to the shop.
Kind of hung over . I kinda wish i could be forever
It takes forever to to post here now.
I hope this doesn't mean a second archive. I'm not ready.
Kind of hung over . wish i could be forever
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90gZf9DE_Bk I think I'll make it a tradition to end my karaoke sessions with this song. The reactions of the audience were amusing.
I thought of him then. I wonder if he thought of me, too.
Accents!
What the fuck is that grinding noise?
Awesome WM isn't that autistic.
Works just fine out of the box. What's with the bad reputation?
Those church bells outside have been ringing for five minutes straight now. What the fuck is up with that?
I bought a whole bunch of books yesterday, when I really needed a new bookshelf instead. I hate impulse purchases.

I suspect that I may have exceeded my maximum Komeiji exposure today.
I have no problem with wapanese people, but I wish they would keep it in the anime and manga boards.
Young people are so stupid and annoying. But I have to remind myself, I was that age too.
I want to get into a hobby. A cool hobby. But not just any cool hobby. I want to get into a cool hobby that no one else is into. So for instance, posting on text boards is out, because it's too popular. ACkpth! My tea tastes gross.

Oh, what a wonderful death! I could hope for nothing more!
In all seriousness, it cannot be healthy to fantasise about death so much. Ah well, when have we ever troubled ourselves with ideals of health anyway?
I'm taking a chance.
I can't go three weeks without a Homestuck update.
I'm 18 but I don't feel any different from how I was when I was 17!
>>698
This shocked me. I expected the world to completely change, but it didn't. Grown-ups are just teenagers but older.
Happy birthday, Robert!
