I don't understand what “but you sage threads you don't like bty” means. If that's a typo for “btw” and you're trying to instruct him on how to use sage, that's bad advice. If you're commenting on that particular poster's use of sage, I don't think you can accurately claim that, since it's not a distinctive name.
