I've been working at home for 20 years. No changes here, except that I can't take my laptop to the library and do my bidness there any more.

I still don't get why so many people are stocking toilet paper? What do you need them for? Just wash your ass.
Aside from that, I'm buying a Tyvex suit and a 3M semifacial mask with filters for biological vapors. (・∀・ )

Not too long ago the government recommended that everyone stays home. The next morning I realized I had been emailed to instead show up at work so we can wrap up before everyone goes home. I rushed there and helped everyone set their remote access up, stuffed equipment into cars and backpacks and split.

I have been working from home ever since. I have spent a great deal of my life alone at home, typing away on a computer. Much like many of you, I'm sure. It's actually quite nice. Instead of having days where I feel good, and days where I feel extremely tired and done, now most days I feel somewhat numb and relaxed. I have some more free time now. My regular 2 hour commute was taking a greater toll on me than I imagined. During the first week I worked around the clock. I knew I would have trouble separating work from.. not-work. It's much better now. I still probably work a bit more than I should, but I get to take breaks which helps heaps with productivity. I actually started cycling in the mornings for fun, and it's so much easier to have a workout schedule.

I really enjoy the fact that I am not expected to leave my apartment. It feels like a small burden was lifted off my shoulders. It is now normal to others that I don't have any plans.

Things have become more casual with my flatmate now that we have to spend more time together. We do weird things like shopping at 8 in the morning to avoid people, meticulously washing the groceries, help each other break bad habits, watch the sun set while eating after work.

I hate that warmer days are coming, and I don't think I really want things to go back to how they used to be. The world has given people like me a break. Alas, it is terrible that people are sick, dying and losing their jobs, and so let's try to make the most out of this.

Day 7 of isolation, still got the perpetual feeling that there's an imminent task or social situation a couple days from now, even though everything from the weekend forth is bizarrely dark in my mind-calendar, more ominous than the casual colorless blank of an upcoming duty-free week,
