In many GUI environments, including Microsoft Windows and most desktop environments based on the X Window System, and in applications such as word processing software running in those environments, control-V can be used to paste text from the clipboard at the current cursor position. Control-V was one of a handful of keyboard sequences chosen by the program designers at Xerox PARC to control text editing. Presumably these particular keystrokes were chosen because of their location on a standard QWERTY keyboard, since the Z (undo), X (cut), C (copy), and V (paste) keys are located together at the left end of the bottom row of the standard QWERTY keyboard. The equivalent Mac OS key combination on Apple computers is Command-V.

It still boils down to the lesser evil, though. Food for thought: a vegetable farm can only survive if all competing plants and animals are removed. Not to mention numerous unintended deaths--human included--caused by the dangerous machinery therein. Cattle farms and factories, on the other hand, need only remove immediate threats, such as foxes and snakes. So it's a very real possibility that while on your end you believe you're doing good by supporting the plant market, you might actually be doing more harm to the world around you than those who support the meat market. And as for your final comment--what religion do you believe, if any? Personally, I'm under the impression that all is equal in God's eyes. Just, some things to consider.

Basically, it revolved around the idea that there was a mystical dragon book that was lost. This book had the power to allow draconic souls to be reborn as dragons.

The histories started with something about the dragons dying out and the last of their kind breeding into the human population. From there apparently people were wandering around with bits and pieces of draconic memory. This meant that if you drew pictures of dragons, it wasn't you being imaginative, it was you "remembering" something from the "histories". So everything creative related to mythical beasts had nothing to do with you, just that you were a channel remembering pages from the long lost dragon book. Apparently my lesbian friends in particular were supposed to help spread the word since they were "chosen" and had "signs" that indicated that they were dragons yet to be reborn. It had a lot to say about...er...their "powers" and how to use them. And by powers I mean sex.

Superb for its intro alone, with the sample from "The L-Shaped Room" leading into crazed feedback before settling into the drum-led rhythm that is so distinctive.

Skillchains and Magic Bursts just aren’t efficient enough to bother with, but somewhere, deep down, we wish they were. I mean, how cool is it to set up a chain of special attacks that culminates in a bonus effect that opens the door for an assault of magic? Of course, doing it 50 thousand times as you grind off crabs sort of dulls that effect.
Still, it was a unique part of Final Fantasy XI, and added to the party dynamic. Now, the most efficient way to party is to just deck yourself off and beat the holy hell out of the enemy until the pixels physically crumble from the punishment.

This little tale happened before the debut single ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ came out and the simple message is, don’t miss an opportunity to see Jamie Woon, especially when the alternative is to get hammered.

Talking of which, Gilles Peterson has been hammering ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ on his show and it turned up at No. 30 in the All-Winners poll. This is very impressive when we find out that Jamie is from the gospel spiritual home of New Malden.

This week New Malden was covered in snow like much of England and would have been a fine setting for a video to the remix by Burial. His ‘Wayfaring Stranger’ seems to have wandered into a spooky haunted house dub vibe. While that’s very cinematic, the Stitch version goes for a downtempo jazz mix.

The 12” comes with the bonus of a song called ‘Gravity’ which is simply Woon and an acoustic guitar as a neo-soul-blues-folk.

He’s got such a strong voice, this is either going to be massive or a future find for some compiler for lost classics. By the looks of his future gigs, there’s little risk of this track getting lost on its travels. Check out the video below and be impressed. Now, where’s me pint gone?

Kulaks (Russian: кула́к, kulak, "fist", by extension "tight-fisted") were a category of relatively affluent and well-endowed peasants in the later Russian Empire, Soviet Russia, and early Soviet Union. The word kulak originally referred to independent farmers in the Russian Empire who emerged as a result of the Stolypin reform which began in 1906. The Stolypin reform created a new class of landowners who were allowed to acquire for credit a plot of land from the large estate owners, and the credit (a kind of mortgage loan) was to be repaid from farm work. In 1912, 16% of peasants (up from 11% in 1903) had relatively large endowments of over 8 acres (3.2 hectares) per male family member (a threshold used in statistics to distinguish between middle-class and prosperous farmers, i.e., kulaks). At that time an average farmer's family had 6 to 10 children.

My advice? Ask your self before doing anything, is this what Conan would do? Hummm... should i buy this girl i just met really expensive gifts to try to get her to like me or should i grab her by the hair, drag her back to my lair and hate fuck the shit out of her.

Should i whine about shit that is annoying me or should i smash it? Should i give this job to a nigger snake man or should i lop his head off?

all easy decisions for someone following conan's advice.

I am like, uh, getting the feeling of cumming in a gym, I'm getting the feeling of cumming at home, I'm getting the feeling of cumming backstage when I pump up, when I pose in front of 5,000 people, I get the same feeling, so I am cumming day and night. I mean, it's terrific.

What's the difference between a grocery bag and Michael Jackson?

One's made of plastic and a threat to children, and the other is dead.

The hole Damion war in my opinion was the one that maid ds9 and Star Trek in brother sense. Not to be over trekking, but wouldn't logic sate that was the bast course of action. Star trek rocks.

It is said that the native Americans used every part of the mitten, but the truth is that they'd unravel them indiscriminately and leave most of the yarn for the scavengers.
