I quit 10 years ago, but cigs are comfy as fuck. You get something to do while walking places, it smells nice, it tastes nice, and it's a nice weak euphoria. Not everything needs to be intense. Meth is not something you simply just do while taking a walk somewhere and neither is alcohol. Fun habit, if it wasn't so fucking deadly I'd still be smoking and loving it.
I hate when researching about specific mental illness symptoms, the first thing you find are people who supposedly have the disorder giving anecdotes about it. It reminds me of the people who take MBTI stuff very seriously and just desperately want a label

What the whole AI art debacle has taught me is that a lot of people have absolutely garbage standards for art.
Dozens of times I've seen someone post poorly-proportioned, awfully shaded, completely anatomically insane and malformed AI art and seen a horde of posters shouting in response about how it's better than anything humans could make, and how AI art has already ended human artists. Not that I doubt it'll eventually completely destroy the human-made art market, but the sort of garbage AI art in particular that I've seen heavily praised makes me think that the quality bar it needs to reach before that's a possibility is far, far lower than expected.
I hate whenever programs talk about nigeria they always add a disclaimer about how they're friendly, welcoming and not just what you see in the news (if you look on facebook and nairaland, its worse) blah blah blah when Nigerians have an earned poor reputation across almost of all sub-saharan africa. They're friendly yes but because they want something from you. Its ok to admit the widespread corruption has made them distrusting of others and self-interested.
I dont think I've ever seen a news program describe a country's peoples as anything but friendly, welcoming and thats probably true as most people are decent enough but Nigerians may be the sole exception.

I agree. But the AI crowd is a big circlejerk right now

>>942 I think it's really funny! And I still think the human element in having the idea, using the AI tool and curating the results makes it valid art, made funnier by the irked purists saying gbut it's not Art!!!h I don't think the human art market will ever die.

people on SNS really are falling for a waifu with 3 and a half fingers and a second set of bobs instead of a tummy and legs
The "current thoughts" thread has really just become the "unsolicited opinions" thread (I'm helping!)
Maybe I should relearn how to talk to people first.

Hypothetically speaking, let's say I want to distribute software under a license that requires all copies of the software come with a copy of the goatse image. Hello.jpg is presumably copyright Kirk Johnson. What would be the legal implications of a FOSS license that requires that the software be distributed alongside a copyrighted image to which the original software developer owns no rights (as unlikely as it is that Kirk Johnson ever enforces his copyright)? Since this is legally problematic (it is asking anyone redistributing copies of the software potentially violate copyright law with the goatse image), would it be better to require the software be distributed alongside a non-goatse but goatse-adjacent image, such as a goatse ascii art or a goatse parody image? This goatse-alternative would then be licensed in such a way as to make distributing it alongside the software legally not an issue. There is a well known goatse ascii art on the goatse websight, does anyone know the copyright status of that ascii art? Can copyright even be enforced for small bits of ascii art like that? What if I stretch my own anus, and then require that be the photo distributed alongside the software instead of the real goatse? Would my knock-off self-goatse have the same psychological impact? Does anyone know where I can contact Kirk Johnson to ask him about licensing his hello.jpg image?

I was really surprised when gmail let me register without phone number, I once spent like a year without an email address and google account, so it just giving it like that surprised me. Reddit and discord still decided to be assholes, reddit just shadowbanned me, and discord demands my phone number.

Forgot to congratulate Xi on the third term tho, here's to five more years of looking deeply unhappy to be in the presence of other people you have to shake hands with even when you smile.

He looks like he's had a lot of plastic surgery even though I doubt he has

Let's assume you use the classic Kirk Johnson hello.jpg. By requiring anyone who redistributes the software to commit an illegal act (copyright infringement), it would presumably be treated the same as other unreasonable provision in a contract, such as "by redistributing this software you agree to give me all your possessions", and considered void by most courts.
Your best bet legally is the knockoff goatse. I cannot say whether it would have the same impact. Feel free to share the picture with us when you've made it, I'm sure everyone would love to give you feedback.
If you want to be more hip, try putting hello.jpg through an AI img2img tool. They're legally uncharted territory (model training itself has been held to be legal in the USA, but I'm not sure about img2img.)

Thank you for your legal advice! I'll try to track down and contact Kirk Johnson to ask him to release hello.jpg under a CC license. But if that doesn't work, I'll start stretching, and you'll be getting plenty of pics!

uhm actually it's impossible for girls to be "always horny and wet" and men to be "always hard" and fucking to "never end", as all phenomena are impermanent and lack a self.
However, the very fact that all things must end is precisely what allows us to enjoy them. See you next thread....
